Poem of the Week Instant Recall Michael Virga (MV) on the left rear peeling apart at 130 rpm a Firestone newly treaded with skulls & crossbones blows out from a foot- and-a-half long gash * on the way to be a ring-bearer the family's SUV reeled out-of-control her 8-year-old no longer right behind her she tracked the distance thrown way back I finally found him in a pool of blood his limbs badly broken & twisted * and he can no longer know her as mother two weeks later released from IC back at home raising a vegetable but like plants respond to touch & sound
